Roast Duck Legs with Red Wine & Honey Sauce

Complete your evening with this Red Wine& Honey Roast Duck recipe - well flavored, slightly sweetened meat decent enough for a weekend dinner. 


4 Duck legs

60g Barbecue sauce

20g Black pepper sauce

40g Honey

40g Red wine

10g Garlic, crushed

0.5g Rosemary


Step by Step Cooking Instructions:

Step 1. Pat the duck legs dry with paper towels. Score the skin with a sharp knife so that the fat can escape while the duck cooks. Put the duck legs in a bowl.

Step 2. Add barbecue sauce, black pepper sauce, honey, red wine, and rosemary to the duck legs. Mix well and seal with plastic wrap. Marinate in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Step 3. On the stove, heat a skillet and add the crushed garlic. Sear the duck legs, skin sides down over medium heat until the skin turns golden and gives out some oil.

Step 4. Turn and sear the meat sides for just 1 to 2 minutes. Remove to an air fryer plate and air fry to 150℃ for 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 5. Pour the leftover marinade in a saucepan and bring it to a boil on the stovetop to collect the sauce.

Step 6. Drizzle the duck legs with the sauce and enjoy!
