Classic American Cheeseburger

These juicy and well-flavored hamburgers, covered by melted cheese and loaded with crisp veggies and pickles, are so easy and quick to make - ready in less than 30 minutes! Your must-have dream hamburger worth an Instagram.

Ingredients:

5 Hamburger buns

200g Ground pork

300g Ground beef

1 Onion chopped

1 Lettuce

1 Tomato sliced

1 Egg

1 Pickled gherkin, sliced

250g Shredded mozzarella cheese

(or 5 slices of American cheese)

30g Ketchup

30g Mayonnaise

2g Thyme

2g Garlic powder

0.5g Black pepper

3g Salt

 

Step by Step Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: In a large bowl, add in the ground beef, ground pork, finely-chopped onion, ketchup, salt, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, and the egg. Mix until well combined.

Step 2: Divide the petty mix into five portions and form patties. Press your thumb slightly into the center to make a divot so they don't puff up while cooking.

Step 3: Preheat air fryer to 180℃ and bake the patties for 15 minutes.

Step 4: Take out the patties and add on each patty some shredded mozzarella cheese (about 50g) or a slice of cheese . Preheat air fryer to 180 ℃ and bake for another 3 ~ 5 minutes.

Step 5: Cut the hamburger buns into halves. Stack the hot patties on hamburgers buns, and dress up with Mayonnaise, crisp lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and ketchup. Or you could put in your other favorite toppings and condiments.

Step 6: You could serve also with a heaping side of French fries, and a fresh spring mix salad. What could be better?
